Dimetric graph paper

Dimetric paper is used for drawing pseudo-three dimensional views. The advantage over isometric paper is the minimal distortion of the objects front side. However, the use of this paper is a bit more complicated. The length of the z-axis has to be measured, counting intersections doesn't lead to a accurate result.

For drawings where lines are distracting Papersnake has developed the paper type "Dots". It consists of small dots at the intersection of the isometric lines.
